The second of our pressed flower workshops - learn how to turn flowers and foliage into pressed flower art for a flower frame.
In this hands-on class you’ll learn all about the process of flower pressing. It's my favourite way to use dried flowers (it's very nostalgic for me). We’ll talk about the best flowers and foliage to work with, how to prep them for pressing and give you a quick demo before we get onto the really fun stuff - creating your own pressed flower art using already pressed flowers.
We'll spend the remainder of the workshop arranging pre-pressed dried flowers in glass frames to use around your home. (Pressed flowers can also be used to create greeting cards, decorate phone cases or used in jewellery but that's another workshop altogether..)
All supplies and equipment will be provided. You don't need to have attended our flower pressing workshop to attend this one. All our knowledge will be shared.
Bring your friends, flatties or family and learn how to create your own pressed flowers.
For this workshop, everyone will be given:
- A selection of already pressed flowers
- A glass frame
- A flower pressing guide sheet
- All the guidance, tools, equipment and help you need to press your own beautiful flowers
